Terms of Use
Sages of the 4th World LLC · Effective 5 September 2026
These are the terms for using the Sages apps and this website. We have kept them short and in plain English. By using the apps or the site you agree to them.
Who we are
The Sages apps and sagesofthe4th.world are made by Sages of the 4th World LLC, a limited liability company in California, United States ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected] or by post at 1120 Sycamore Ave, Suite 2G, Vista, CA 92081.
The App Store license
The Sages app is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your license to use the app is Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In short, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control. Where these terms and Apple's agreement differ, Apple's agreement governs the app itself.
Subscriptions
- Part of the catalog is free. The premium subscription unlocks all of it.
- The subscription is sold by Apple, renews automatically, and is charged to your Apple ID at the price shown in the App Store before you confirm. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless canceled.
- You can cancel at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules, not by us. We cannot issue them directly.
- Restore a purchase on a new device with Restore Purchases inside the app.
What you may do
Listen as much as you like, for yourself. You may not copy, record, redistribute, resell or publicly perform the recordings, or use automated tools to download the catalog. The spoken recordings, music arrangements, artwork and the selection and arrangement of the catalog are our work or used under license, and are protected by copyright. Many of the underlying texts are in the public domain and remain free for everyone; our recordings of them are not.
Not medical advice
Sages offers contemplative readings and guided practices for relaxation and reflection. It is not medical or psychological care and does not diagnose, treat or replace treatment for any condition. If you are in distress or thinking about harming yourself, please contact a health professional or your local emergency number. Use the app only where it is safe to do so. Do not listen with your eyes closed while driving or operating machinery.
Availability and changes
Audio streams from our servers, so the app needs an internet connection and may occasionally be unavailable. We add, revise and sometimes remove pieces from the catalog. We may update the app and these terms from time to time; the current terms will always be at this address with the effective date shown above.
Liability
The apps and website are provided as they are. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from their use, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for the subscription in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. If a dispute arises, we would rather hear from you first: write to us and we will try to sort it out.
Privacy
How we handle information is set out in our Privacy Policy. The short version: the app has no accounts and collects nothing that identifies you.
